Myelin associated glycoprotein (MAG) is a component of myelin with a MW of 100kDA. The IgM antibody can be demonstrated in both the central and peripheral nerves.
Clinical feature of peripheral neuropathy are seen.
MAG antibody can associated with Waldenstrom’s macroglobulinaemia and multiplr myelomas.
