Ma2 (Ta) is most commonly occurring amongst the Ma family (Ma1, Ma2 & Ma3) and targets 41.5 kDa antigen confined to the central nervous system.
Ma2 is associated with brainstem encephalitis and limbic encephalitis.
Germ-cell neoplasm of the testis occurs in about 80% of the cases.
